• Based on the complex systems and simulation mathematics
• Located at the University of Turku (Finland)
VANCOUVER, BC, January 9, 2016 – Syniad Innovations Inc (“Syniad”) is pleased to announce that it has entered a new advisory engagement to help establish the Complex Systems Institute at Turku University.
The goal of the Complex Systems Institute is to develop new mathematical models that enable the optimization of highly complex systems. The initial focus area of the Complex Systems Institute is intelligent city optimization, the city being a classic example of a complex system with sub-systems that exhibit non-intuitive inter-dependencies.
Syniad’s CEO, John Davies, commented, “We are firm believers that the emergence of novel mathematics will underpin the ability to simulate solutions to future complex challenges. We’re delighted today to be able to play a formative role in the Complex Systems Institute’s beginnings.”
