Vancouver, British Columbia – June 11th, 2026: Quantum Reconnaissance Services Corp. (“Quantum Recon” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded $550,000 in new grant funding from the National Research Council (“NRC”).
The new funding stream will support the development of photonic networking technologies that enable geographically distributed quantum sensors to operate as coordinated networks. The platform will enable centralized processing, enhanced signal fidelity, and improved resilience in positioning, navigation, timing, and advanced signal detection capabilities for defence and critical infrastructure applications.
Iain Evans, Syniad’s CIO commented, “This new grant award is a great validation of how Quantum Recon’s technology suite is extensible beyond the Company’s core focus on control electronics for quantum computing. The concept of building networks of quantum sensors is incredibly timely and strongly aligned to the development of Canada’s sovereign capabilities. On behalf of the Company, I’d like to signal our appreciation for the support we’ve received from NRC, which is so critical for accelerating early stage Canadian applications.”
