Syniad’s Ecoscreen Venture Provides Updates on Chemistry Platform Validation

VANCOUVER, BC, October 22, 2020 – Syniad Innovations Inc (“Syniad”) is pleased to announce that EcoScreen Solutions Inc (“EcoScreen”) has reported essential validation steps in the development of its biosensing platform.

EcoScreen has taken a new approach to pathogen detection that has shown promising results as a platform for rapid, low cost and non-invasive detection of COVID-19 infection based on saliva or shallow, nasal swab samples. To validate this approach, the Company has worked with three independent laboratories to register proof-of-concept validation of the platform’s potential across a variety of instrumentation form factors: quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring (QCM-D), Lateral Flow Assay (LFA), Surface Plasma Resonance (SPR).
