Vancouver, British Columbia – March 7th, 2025: Syniad Innovations Inc. (“Syniad”) is pleased to announce that its mineral processing technology venture, Brokkr Mineral Resources Corporation (“Brokkr”), has made an important new appointment to its advisory board.
Richard Shaw is a prominent figure in hydrometallurgy, known for his role as a co-inventor of the FENIX Hydromet Iron Control System. This innovative system utilizes a patented ion-exchange resin to selectively remove iron from copper electrolytes, enhancing efficiency in copper electrowinning processes. The technology has been successfully implemented at Western Metals Copper Ltd.’s Mt. Gordon Operations in Queensland, Australia, leading to significant reductions in reagent consumption and operational costs. Shaw has also contributed to advancements in leaching technologies with patents related to reduced acid leaching and resin-in-leach methodologies.
Sean Crowe, CEO of Brokkr commented, “Richard has been an inspirational figure in the field for many years and we are remarkably fortunate to be able to have access to his industrial hydrometallurgy experience. We’ve intentionally worked hard to develop an exceptionally strong advisory board, which can make such a difference to an early-stage company’s development. When I look at the composition of the advisory board today, it is an absolute privilege to be supported by a truly world-class group of experts.”
About Brokkr Mineral Resources Corporation
