VANCOUVER, BC., October 15, 2022 – Syniad Innovations Inc (“Syniad”) is pleased to announce that Phil Swift has joined Syniad’s Advisory Board as Investor in Residence. Additionally, Mr. Swift will serve as a non-management member of Syniad’s investment committee.
Mr. Swift is a founder and director of ARC Financial Corp., a leading Canadian energy investor with over $5B under management. He was the President and Chief Executive Officer of ARC from 1997 to 2003, originated ARC’s private equity investing activities in 1990, and played a key leadership role in ARC’s equity business. Mr. Swift has served on the boards of approximately 20 corporations. He was President of Alberta and International Director of the North American Society for Corporate Planning. He is a recipient of the Warren Bennis Award for Leadership Excellence and the Pinnacle Award for achievement in entrepreneurship.
He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Math from British Columbia. He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia and acts as a director for several philanthropic organizations.
