Syniad’s Patronus Appoins Mike McGinty as Independent Director

March 2^nd, 2023, Vancouver, British Columbia – Syniad Innovations Inc (“Syniad”) is proud to announce that one of its portfolio companies Patronus Technologies Inc (“Patronus”), has appointed Mike McGinty as Independent Director.

With extensive experience in the army as a trainer, educator, and strategic planner, Mike has demonstrated a consistent ability to lead, motivate, and drive success. He has taught tactical and strategic planning at the highest levels and has been selected to represent the United Kingdom in lecturing and mentoring at the Canadian Forces College. In his last role in the UK, he served as base commander of a flying station, leading a team of over 600 and responsible for all aspects of a community of over 2000 people and assets worth over $500 million.

Since leaving the army in 2014, Mike has remained active as a leader, serving as the head of Risk Management and Security at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan Campus and leading and training the Canadian Armed Forces territorial response force for Emergency Management in the province of British Columbia.
