Vancouver, British Columbia – November 7, 2025: Syniad Innovations Inc. (“Syniad”) announces that Gemina Laboratories Ltd. (CSE: GLAB) (the “Company” or “Gemina”) Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”), Brian Firth, has left the Company with immediate effect. Robert Greene – the original scientific founder and Chief Technology Officer – has been appointed to CEO and will take up his new role as from this date.
Robert Greene commented, “I am honoured to be appointed as the Company’s CEO and I am looking forward to driving the Company forward, confident that we have de-risked the target-capture technology that I originally invented. I’m now really excited about the commercial prospects for what has turned out to be a world-class innovation for the diagnostics sector and beyond. Early in the Company’s life, we originally thought the best commercialization path for Gemina’s technology platform would be the development of in-house rapid tests. The development of our first test in 2022 was a hugely valuable learning exercise for us. We received incredible strong validation through the patient trial process, culminating in a CE regulatory approval. Subsequently we made a strategic decision to pivot our revenue strategy to a licensing model, premised on high-value, long-term partnerships with established diagnostics companies. As we look forward, I believe we will see vindication of that strategic decision in 2026, as we progress our pipeline of commercial opportunities.”
The Company will provide a strategic update to the market later this month.
