Syniad Appoints Matti Hautsalo as Independent Director

VANCOUVER, BC, April 21, 2022 – Syniad Innovations Inc (“Syniad”) today announced the appointment of Matti Hautsalo as an Independent Director.

Mr. Hautsalo is an investment professional and longstanding investor in deep tech and scientific ventures. He is a partner and director at Bentmind Group, a private investment company headquartered in Luxembourg, chairman of the board of directors at Valo Therapeutics, a Finnish Biotech company, and a non-executive director of Algorithmic, a quantum computing company. As a partner at Aura Capital, a privately owned Finnish venture capital company, he held chairmanships and directorships in several companies with science-based IP assets and technologies. Before this, Matti worked at McKinsey&Co and ING Asset Management. He has an M.Sc. in Economics from Helsinki and Universidad de Autonoma de Madrid.
